Police warned motorcycle gangs in Victoria to stop hostilities among them before innocent people are killed.
The warning from the police was necessary after the attack on the rider, Mick Matzaris, who has relations with two known gangs.
The attack against Matzaris took place outside his home in Doveton, in the early hours of June 17 when he was shot from a passing car, while the rest of his family was inside the house.
Matzaris, according to the newspaper Herald Sun had a relationship with the former police officer, Andrew Tait, who was accused of corruption. The bodybuilder was hit last year by Comanchero bikies.
The newspaper also claims that Matzaris had relationships with both the gang of Comancheros and with that of the Rebels.
Matzaris said he is a victim of publicity by the media and that he does not cooperate with the police.
